Privacy Policy

RekylCS uses Steam sign-in so you can access your web account, Retake profile, VIP Center and community features. When you sign in, we store your SteamID64, current Steam name, avatar, account roles, login/session information and any profile settings you choose to use on the site.

Our game servers collect Retake statistics such as kills, sessions, playtime, milestones, hitgroups, scoreboards, rankings and other gameplay totals. These statistics are used to run leaderboards, player profiles, match history and server activity pages. Some statistics may be public on the site because they are part of the RekylCS community experience.

VIP Center data, such as VIP credits, reward progress, redemptions, credit history and VIP Center restrictions, is stored so we can provide account features and prevent abuse. Actual in-game VIP access may be stored separately in the game server admin database.

We do not sell personal data. We use data to run the community, provide account features, protect the servers, prevent abuse, moderate the service, keep statistics accurate and understand server activity. Server logs may include technical data such as timestamps, request information and IP information for security, moderation and abuse prevention.

You can download your available web account data from the privacy controls in your account settings. You can also delete your RekylCS web account there. Deleting your web account removes your website account and related website-only data, but it does not delete Retake gameplay statistics, scoreboards, historical rankings, server punishments or aggregated server statistics. This keeps leaderboards, match history and community statistics consistent.

We may keep certain information where it is needed for security, moderation, abuse prevention, historical/statistical integrity, legal reasons, or to protect the community. Where possible, data may be kept in aggregated or non-public form instead of being shown as account data.
